Getting Started

How do I download ExamPal?
ExamPal is available for iOS on the App Store. Visit our exams page to find your exam and download the app. Each app is free to download and includes a free diagnostic assessment.
How does the diagnostic assessment work?
When you first open the app, you'll take a free 10-minute diagnostic that tests your knowledge across all exam topics. Based on your results, ExamPal creates a personalized study plan that focuses on your weak areas first, so you study efficiently from day one.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. You can download the app, take the diagnostic assessment, and access a limited set of study materials completely free — no credit card required. The free tier lets you experience ExamPal before deciding to upgrade to Pro for full access.
What exams does ExamPal support?
We currently support several professional certification exams including California Notary, New York Notary, SIE, CPA FAR, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and Real Estate License. We're actively adding more exams — check the app or our exams page for the latest list.

Subscription & Billing

How do I subscribe to ExamPal Pro?
Open ExamPal, go to Settings, and tap "Upgrade to Pro." Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and billed through the App Store. You can choose monthly or annual billing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Since ExamPal uses Apple's subscription system, you cancel through your iPhone settings: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > ExamPal > Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you have any issues, email us at [email protected] and we'll help guide you through the process.
Does ExamPal support Family Sharing?
At this time, ExamPal Pro subscriptions are per-account and do not support Apple Family Sharing. Each user needs their own subscription for personalized study tracking and progress.

Pass Guarantee

How do I claim the Pass Guarantee?
Email [email protected] with your official score report or a screenshot of your exam results, along with the email address associated with your ExamPal account. We'll review your claim within 5 business days.
Am I eligible for the Pass Guarantee?
You're eligible if you had an active Pro subscription when you took the exam, used ExamPal for at least 14 days, completed at least 70% of the question bank (or 2 full mock exams), and submit your claim within 30 days of receiving your results. See our Pass Guarantee page for full details.
What do I get with the Pass Guarantee?
If you meet the eligibility requirements and don't pass your exam, you receive 3 months of free ExamPal Pro access. This gives you full access to all study materials and features to prepare for your retake. Quarterly or Annual subscription required.
How long do I have to submit a claim?
You must submit your Pass Guarantee claim within 30 days of receiving your official exam results. Claims submitted after 30 days cannot be processed.

Technical Issues

Does ExamPal work offline?
Yes. Once you've downloaded your exam content, you can study offline. Your progress syncs automatically when you reconnect to the internet.
Can I sync my progress across multiple devices?
Your progress is tied to your ExamPal account. As long as you're signed in with the same account, your progress syncs automatically across all your iOS devices.
How does ExamPal handle my data and privacy?
We take privacy seriously. Your study data is encrypted and stored securely. We never sell your personal information. You can read our full Privacy Policy for details on data collection, storage, and your rights.
The app is crashing or not loading. What should I do?
Try these steps: 1) Force-close the app and reopen it, 2) Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store, 3) Restart your device. If the issue persists, email us at [email protected] with your device model and iOS version.
